My name is Andrew Ewings, but I am first and foremost a child of God. By God’s grace, I have remained his child from the time I entered his family through Holy Baptism up to the present day. Throughout my life, God has given me many different reminders of the love he has for all people in Jesus. My wife 钟杨梅, who goes by the English name Ivy, is one such example; she is better than anything I could ever deserve–as anyone who meets her will know.

By God’s grace I was ordained into the holy ministry on July 15, 2018 at Resurrection Lutheran Church in Monroe, Wisconsin. While I am a husband, a father, and a pastor, I remain a child of God who wants you to know and understand what God has made so clear to me. He loves you dearly, even giving up his only Son so that you might be his child and heir.

I have lived in a number of places throughout my life. In my travels around the world I have learned that everyone is different, uniquely made by God; and everyone is the same, sharing the exact same need for the unmatched love of our Savior Jesus. I have no greater joy than to talk to others about the peace we have with God and one another as a result of Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection. Ivy, my son Isaiah, and I are excited to get to know you, to share a meal with you, and to love you with the gifts God has given us. I pray we can be a blessing to you, even as you are to us.
